I’m super excited about today’s news of IBM. They have officially announced a partnership with San Jose State University to aid students understand about social organization and prepare for the labor market. The new curriculum provides SJSU students with the opportunity to deepen their technical knowledge not only about the technologies of the company, but also the importance of culture, cooperation, good governance, a industry expected to grow by Forrester Analysis almost $ 7 billion by means of 2016, although studying how to adapt their understanding to the organization opportunities in the actual world challenges.
Students also find out about social enterprise creates value for organizations in each and every department of human resources to consumer service, advertising and marketing and public relations for item development by integrating social technologies in your workflow all days and organization processes.
The system objectives are to assist students:
- realize the principles of Social smarter enterprise via the use of social networking software,
- create business skills and real world knowledge by way of the evaluation of social entrepreneurship and the challenges an organization’s business partner IBM,
- develop teamwork and collaboration abilities
- much better recognize how to use IBM social networking technologies,
- deepen relations between teachers, students, IBM and IBM Organization Partners.
Starting this month, I will operate as an assistant professor from San Jose State time to teach an evening class in the social enterprise of journalism and public relations students. The class is also open to company students. I will use my book, Smart Company, Social Organization and the course textbook and curriculum (I’m still in development) will concentrate on:
